With IKI support, Unique is cooperating with the Volendam Cooperative and the University of Asunción to collect seeds from natural timber species from degraded fragments of the endangered Atlantic forests. The goal is to safeguard genetic material and advance knowledge on how to employ these species in commercial plantation forestry.
